The credit union volunteered through Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit community revitalization organization. The Robins Financial volunteers spent the day completing several home maintenance tasks, including yard work and rebuilding the stairs to a shed. According to the Credit Union National Association, credit unions provided the state’s 2.1 million credit union members $237,863,584 in direct financial benefits during 2017. This is equivalent to $114 for each credit union member, or $239 per member household.
