August 4th, 2020072First Florida Credit Union recently earned the distinction of being one of the Best Companies to Work For in Florida. This is the seventh time the credit union has been named to the list, which is published annually by Florida Trend magazine.
The company was the only credit union awarded the designation within the mid-sized category, where it ranked eighth out of 31 diverse businesses across the state. Founded by Orange County teachers in 1937, Addition Financial has a longstanding tradition of supporting education in Central Florida. As schools have transitioned to distance learning, the credit union wanted to recognize teachers and thank them for their work both in the classroom and virtually. To do so, Addition Financial donated care baskets with gift cards to the school districts in Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake counties.
