The president of the Punta Gorda Rotary Club recently wrote a letter to the Sun Port Charlotte thanking all those in the area who helped host Taste of Punta Gorda and Beyond, including Suncoast Credit Union.
The president, James Williams, explained in his letter than all funds from the event went toward local charitable organizations, local emergency relief funds and international charitable projects. The credit union acted as a major sponsor of the event, along with Publix Super Markets, Ingman Marine, McCrory Law Firm and Sysco West Coast Florida.
“Our community would be much poorer without your generous contributions,” Williams said.
