MOBILE, AL (December 15, 2022) — New Horizons Credit Union’s members and staff raised $600 which was donated to the local USA Health Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile, AL – a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) hospital. Fundraising included designated jeans’ days and paper CMN balloon pin-ups at the branches during the month of November.
The Children’s Miracle Network is a Credit Union Industry wide charity of choice. Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues/associations, and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Adopted as the credit union movement’s charity of choice, credit unions are the 5th largest sponsor of CMN Hospitals. Since 1996, over $165 million has been raised for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
